This property is located just north of the Missouri river in NW Pottawattamie County and to the east of Wilson Island State Recreation Area.  This property is also a few miles south of the Desoto National Wildlife Refuge. This land is mainly tillable farmland with all but 108 acres protected by the levee. There is one newer 10 tower pivot plus engine, well and pump irrigating the land. All the equipment was serviced in 2020 and the pump was replaced at considerable cost. The levees north of the farm are now being repaired by the levee districts which will add security from flooding to the land. The farm was in corn in 2020 with an estimated yield of 180 bu/acre for all the tillable acres. There is approximately 250 acre under the pivot. The access to the farm is from the levee entrance on DeSoto Avenue to  the NW and this road circles around to the south on the top of the levee then circles back north near the NE corner of the property. This property is north of the Missouri river and east of Wilson Island State Recreation Area in NW Pottawattamie County.  This property is SE of the Desoto National Wildlife Refuge. This land is mainly irrigated tillable farmland with three center pivot irrigation systems with two engines and two wells with pumps. The farm was in corn in 2020 with a yield in excess of 180 bu/acre. Approximately 260 acres are covered with irrigation. All but 26 acres are inside the levee and south of DeSoto Avenue. There was 8.5 acres granted to the local levee district in the NW corner for use in repairing the levees north of the property.
