This property is north of the Missouri river and east of Wilson Island State Recreation Area in NW Pottawattamie County. This property is SE of the Desoto National Wildlife Refuge. This land is mainly irrigated tillable farmland with three center pivot irrigation systems with two engines and two wells with pumps. The farm was in corn in 2020 with a yield in excess of 180 bu/acre. The soybean yield in 2021 was over 60 bu/acre. Approximately 260 acres are covered with irrigation. All but 26 acres are in-side the levee and south of DeSoto Avenue. There was 14 acres granted to the local levee district in the NW corner for use in repairing the levees north of the property. The best route to get to this property would be to go west from I-29 at Exit 72 the follow the signs to Wilson Island or DeSoto Wildlife area. This land is on the south side of DeSoto Avenue just east of Wilson Island.
