Description: This property is located just north of the Missouri river in NW Pottawattamie County and to the east of Wilson Island State Recreation Area.  This property is also a few miles south of the Desoto National Wildlife Refuge. This land is mainly tillable farmland with all but 108 acres protected by the levee. There is one newer 10 tower pivot plus engine, well and pump irrigating the land. All the equipment was serviced in 2020 and the pump was replaced at considerable cost. The levees north of the farm are now being repaired by the levee districts which will add security from flooding to the land. This property is located in Rockford Township in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. The property is located 7.25 miles southwest of Missouri Valley, and 15.0 miles North of Omaha, NE. This tract can be found just south of Desoto Avenue, and just east of Wilson Island State Recreation Area. The best route to get to this property would be to go west from I-29 at Exit 72 the follow the signs to Wilson Island or DeSoto Wildlife area. This land is on the south side of DeSoto Avenue just east of Wilson Island.
